I will describe a recently completed calculation that beautifully ties together different aspects of higher-spin theory: local, bilocal and twistorial, boundary and bulk, propagators and black holes. In the end, we get some strong evidence that we should consider heavy particles as part of the theory, perhaps leading to a more tractable bulk formulation.
