Title

Towards Realization of Hybrid Quantum System with Superconducting Circuits and Diamond Spin Ensemble

Abstract

This is a joint presentation regarding some theoretical and experimental aspects of the hybrid quantum system combining superconducting resonators, transmons, and NV- centers in diamond. We will review the experimental and theoretical work done at University of Science and Technology of China in this field. In particular, we will introduce the theoretical model describing the hybrid quantum system and its potential applications in quantum information science and quantum thermodynamics. We will also discuss the experimental challenges due to the significant difference in precision control of each subsystem and the difficulty in understanding the mechanism behind quantum information transfer between the immensely different subsystems.
