Call for proposals - Cultural Events Program FY2026

Dear OIST Community, 

The deadline to submit proposals for cultural events to be considered by the OIST Culture Committee for activation in FY2026 (April ’26-March ’27) is coming up on Friday, Dec 12.

If you’re planning to submit, please make sure everything is finalized before the deadline. 

Applications for visual arts, music, dance, theater, literature, or interdisciplinary projects — anything that connects scientific labor with the arts — are welcome. We look forward to discovering new ideas for events that celebrate creativity, curiosity, and community!

Eligibility: Open to individuals and groups with a demonstrated commitment to cultural engagement. 
Evaluation Criteria: Artistic merit, community impact, feasibility, and alignment with the OIST core values.

Please note that the OIST Culture Committee does not provide funding for proposals.
