OIST Astronomy Club: Discussion on exoplanets, by Florian Lalande

The OIST Astronomy Club will host a discussion session on exoplanets presented by Florian Lalande.

The presentation will be as follows:

1) The 2019 Nobel Prize of Physics by Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz: discovery of a planet outside our Solar System around a solar-type star, in 1995

2) How do we detect exoplanets nowadays?

3) Discussion on our current knowledge on exoplanets
