Pinaki Chakraborty is a Professor at the Okinawa Institute of Science & Technology (OIST), where he directs the Fluid Mechanics Unit. Using a combination of theory, experiments, and simulations, the Fluid Mechanics Unit works on turbulent flows, geological flows, atmospheric flows, and granular flows.
