Science Digest Chalk Talk: "Diamond-glass platforms for biological applications"

Abstract:

In the Mathematics, Mechanics, and Materials Unit, we are developing diamond-glass platforms that are highly transparent, chemically robust, and biocompatible. I will briefly explain how these platforms are made and what their applications are. Currently, I'm specializing in making platforms for biological applications and want to use these for setting up interdisciplinary work with researchers specialized in the biological sciences.
