These new banners, featuring imagery created by OIST researchers as part of the scientific process, have been on display for a few days now. This exhibit opening will provide some background about the images and the project and thank the researchers for contributing.

Since 2020, we have co-hosted a series called "Recipe for Scientific Synergy" to introduce researchers from both sides. In order to strengthen the network with a view toward more robust collaboration on bottom-up basis, we have decided to transform this series into an on-site symposium.

Speaker: Dr. Marco Di Giovannantonio is responsible of the ESCA laboratory at CNR-ISM (https://www.ism.cnr.it/en/esca.html). He uses a multidisciplinary approach to synthesize and characterize novel low-dimensional carbon-based nanomaterials, and optimize their growth conditions and final properties to employ them in catalysis and organic electronics.
