We are looking forward to present some of our research group’s work using coral reef fishes as model organisms for behavioural ecology questions. In the first part of the talk, lab PI Theresa Rueger will give an overview of our groups works in behavioural ecology and how our study organisms, anemonefishes, are impacted by recent environmental changes on coral reefs in Papua New Guinea. In the second part of the talk, PhD candidate Kirstin Gaffney will present some recent experiments from the field and lab, studying anemonefish social systems and colour development.
