Neuromorphic Dynamics towards Symbiotic Society
 - an overview, neural computation, artificial pain, and beyond -

Abstract:
Following two prologues (Leonardo android and RoboCup), I propose "Neuromorphic Dynamics," a new trans-discipline involving device/material, integrated circuit/architecture, model/algorithm, and system/application from neuromorphic computing to physical reservoir (soft robotics) towards future symbiotic society.  First, neuromorphism, a philosophy of neuromorphic dynamics, is given with its overview. Next, fundamental neural computation models (STDP and reservoir computing) are shown. Then, a working hypothesis of artificial pain nervous system is introduced for the emergence of empathy and morality. Finally, future issues are raised and discussed towards symbiotic society with robots.
