Shashank Gupta

Shashank Gupta has an Integrated Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (2015-21) from S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, India. He has worked on the foundations and applications of the multipartite quantum resources during his Ph.D. tenure. He then joined QNu Labs, an Indian start-up working on the field of Quantum Cryptography as a Senior Research Associate (2021-23). He along with a dedicated team of engineers worked on breaking distance barriers in quantum key distribution parallelly creating novel quantum-safe solutions for the post-quantum era. Currently, he is a post-doctoral researcher at the Applied Cryptography Unit at OIST, Japan led by Prof. Carlos Cid. His research interest includes but not confined towards Quantum Multi-party computation on quantum network, Quantum simulator for quantum communications, Quantum Cryptography and Post-Quantum Cryptography. Besides research, he is driven towards investing, sketching, and deciphering.
