The Community Cooking Series aims to bring the OIST community and residents of Onna closer through a shared love of food. Each session will be focused on one dish, taught by someone with a personal connection to the recipe (perhaps you?).

OIST will be featured in a very famous Japanese TV show, Waratte Koraete! (笑ってこらえて！), on May 31.

• Florian's research on exoplanets using machine learning
• Miyu's study on memory
• Jann's clownfish reseach

These new banners, featuring imagery created by OIST researchers as part of the scientific process, have been on display for a few days now. This exhibit opening will provide some background about the images and the project and thank the researchers for contributing.

On May 27th, Saturday, our multi-talented OIST and Okinawan communities are coming together to put on a dynamic show. Please join us to enjoy an afternoon of performances ranging from classical & world dances, orchestral pieces & music bands, and martial arts displays!!
