Description

Explore the striking colors of two vastly different worlds in this unique photo exhibition, "Polar Blues, Island Hues." This exhibition presents stunning images of Antarctica and Okinawa, offering a visual journey through their contrasting landscapes. It emerged from a transformative experience in which more than 100 women in STEMM travelled to Antarctica to witness firsthand the profound effects of climate change. Through these images, we are invited to reflect on how global warming is altering these fragile environments—melting glaciers in Antarctica and threatening Okinawa's delicate ecosystems. The exhibition encourages us to consider how the ongoing climate crisis might forever change the colors and beauty of our planet.
