When networking, many times the first questions that people ask are about you and your job. These may be basic questions, but they can be surprisingly difficult to answer. How can you summarize your research in a short time, while keeping the other person’s interest and also giving a good first impression? If you want to learn more about this topic, please join us!

In this seminar we will:

• Learn useful English phrases for introductions and summaries
• Summarize our research and prioritize the ‘so what’
• Practice making introductions in 60, 30, and 15 seconds
• Gain confidence making introductions in English

This seminar is primarily aimed at intern students who are not native speakers of English; however, all are welcome to attend.
