Imagine you’re about to present at a conference (or symposium, seminar, or panel discussion…). You know your research well and could generally talk about it for hours, but… somehow the setting makes you stumble. Well, whether we like it or not, presenting one’s research in front of an audience is a key skill all scientists need to master. At OIST Orators Club we have found it helpful to practice public speaking in a supportive environment and would like to extend what we’ve learned in the past few years to the rest of the researchers’ community.
