Purpose
Want to become an independent researcher? 
This may be a good opportunity for you – JST, Japan Science and Technology Agency will hold an OIST session for the CREST/PRESTO program on Monday July 13.

CREST is for a team research and PRESTO is for individuals who are looking to become an independent researcher. JST supports basic and applied science in Japan, based on the national strategies on science and technology. This means every year they add new research areas to focus on, and your research ideas might fit one of the focus areas.

If any of the below research areas interests you, please join the seminar and learn about the program and tips for applications specific to the CREST/PRESTO.
