Have you heard about the International Laboratory Freezer Challenge?

Some 2,000 labs around the world decided to participate in a fun, free, and simple competition last year. The participants were challenged to optimize their lab’s cold storage facility and enhance its energy efficiency. This annual competition, popular as the Freezer Challenge, began in 2017 when two nonprofits—My Green Lab and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories—joined forces to promote laboratory sustainability.
