Abstract
Squeezing is a technique that reduces uncertainty in one part of a system while increasing it in others, allowing measurements to surpass classical limits. Though squeezing has been successfully used to improve precision in single-parameter measurements, such as atomic clocks and frequency measurements, extending its application to more complex measurements involving multiple parameters, like position and momentum or magnetic fields, poses additional challenges. In this talk,I explore the mechanism behind quantum-enhanced precision in multiphase quantum metrology using advanced squeezing techniques.
Looking forward to seeing many of you at the seminar!
