Title:  Geometry of integrable systems, topological recursion and matrix integrals

Abstract: In this talk, We will briefly present two projects that deal with methods in integrable systems and random matrix theory. We will discuss the problem of enumeration of planar maps by a particular class of decorated trees called mobiles and how integrable systems formalism allows to prove some algebraic equations about generating functions of the mobiles. The second part we will present a general framework for obtaining ordinary differential equations (ODEs) for the correlators that appear in random matrix theory with some applications.
