World Quantum Day Commemorative Event Co-hosted by OIST and AIST

Description: World Quantum Day (WQD) was established in 2021 and is celebrated every year on April 14 to deepen the understanding of quantum science and technology. In particular, 2025 has been designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ). In line with this objective, OIST and AIST will jointly host a commemorative event. The event will highlight the collaboration of OIST and AIST in the field of quantum science and feature a symposium exploring how quantum technology could transform future societies and corporate activities.
