[Seminar] "CHIRAL EXITATIONS IN 2D ELECTRON SYSTEMS" by Prof. Valery Shikin

Date

Wednesday, July 31, 2019 - 13:00 to 14:00

Location

C700, Level C, Lab 3

Description

Abstract:

The origin of chiral excitations in both degenerate and classical 2D electron systems is discussed. Attention is paid to methodical specificity of the conditions under which these states turn to be observable. The schemes of excitation of a 2D electron system with the use of chiral themes are proposed which allow watching the behavior of a diagonal component of 2D conductivity as the function of a magnetic field under the conditions of periodic external pumping.
