[Topology and Geometry Seminar] “ Plykin attractor on the plane ” by Dr Linling Ru

This week, Dr Linling Ru (visiting researcher in the Tsvietkova Unit) will speak on "Plykin attractor on the plane".

Abstract: In this lecture, first we will discuss the stable and unstable mainfold theorem for hyperbolic sets. Then I will introduce an explicit example of uniformly hyperbolic attractor, Plykin attractor, and its construction in a discrete-time system.
