Pride 2025: Queer Biology

"But biological sex is binary!" - "Are you sure?"

In this lunchtime seminar we will first explore the term "biological sex" and see that the situation is actually much more complicated than proposed by some political figures. Afterwards, we will talk about non-heteronormative behaviours in the animal kingdom, to get an idea how widely complex sexuality can be. 

This seminar is open to everyone! This is a talk about biology by a biologist, but they try their best to simplify the content for a general audience!
