Watercolor and Art Basics with Elizabeth Firmage Adult class

In this class we will learn basic watercolor techniques, including Washes, Wet on Wet, Wet on Dry, Textures, Lifting, and more.
Along the way, we will also learn about how to mix colors, color theory, composition, and other art
concepts. Each class we will create a small painting to practice a specific technique or two. This
class is perfect for beginners. If you already have watercolor experience, please come as well to
practice your skills or just have painting time. Join as many classes as you like, though each class also stands on its own.

Sept 28- Wet on Wet (whimsical animals)
Oct 19-  Wet on Dry (reflections)
Nov 2-   Textures (texture swatches)
Nov 23- Washes& Review (using all techniques)

Time: Saturday, 10:30-11:30
Location: Ocean View Room, Center Court
Ages: Adults and teens 15+ (Kids classes are offered separately at this link)
Level: All levels welcome, beginners and up
Cost: ¥1000 per person
Materials: Included
Class capacity: 2-12 students*

Please wear a smock or old clothing to protect from paint. All other materials will be provided.
