Please join us for an informal discussion with Prof Serge Haroche…
Serge will chat with students, staff, faculty and colleagues about his journey from Casablanca where he grew up, through his drive to investigate atomic and quantum science, working in many illustrious institutions but finally settling down in the Collège de France, in Paris, France.
He was awarded the CNRS Gold Medal in 2009 and joint awardee of the 2012 Nobel Prize for Physics for his “ground-breaking experimental methods that enable measuring and manipulation of individual quantum systems”.
