Sports Fiesta

Sports Fiesta 2026 is officially back on for Tuesday, 3 November (Culture Day/public holiday)!

After extensively exploring our options for a new venue, availability was unfortunately very limited. However, we’ve secured the Onna Village Community Ground, near Nabee Beach, so the games can officially go on!

There will be a couple of changes from our original plans. Due to venue regulations, we unfortunately won’t be able to have food vendors or the dunk tank on the grounds. We know some of you were particularly excited about the dunk tank (we were too), so we’re sorry for the disappointment!

But, the free drinks are staying! And, most importantly, the heart of Sports Fiesta hasn’t changed. We’ll still have a day of sports, games, friendly competition, exclusive prizes and music, all while raising funds for the OIST gym and supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of our community.

So come down, say hi, pay/collect your shirt and get your Sports Fiesta fit ready for the big day. 

Already registered? Your registration remains valid for the new date, there’s nothing you need to do.

If you can no longer attend on 3 November, or would prefer a refund, just email us and we’ll be happy to sort it out with you.

Thank you again for being so patient and flexible while we worked to find a new date and venue. We were determined not to let a little Okinawa weather defeat the first-ever Sports Fiesta.

So keep that competitive spirit alive, the rematch is officially ON.
