Speaker Bio:
Jordi Mompart is the Director of Barça Vision at FC Barcelona, where he leads the development of the club's digital innovation platform that uses technologies such as AI, Web3, NFTs, and immersive experiences to build a global digital community and deepen fan engagement. Before joining Barça, he spent nearly two decades at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as a professor of physics and quantum technologies, conducting internationally recognized research in quantum optics and mentoring the next generation of scientists. His career reflects a successful transition from academic research to applying scientific thinking and data-driven innovation in one of the world's leading sports organizations.
