Title: Recent progress on collisional kinetic PDEs

Abstract: The collisional relaxation of plasma can be mathematically described by kinetic PDEs such as the Landau- and the Balescu-Lenard equation. This talk will review recently developed mathematical techniques for the global existence and asymptotics of strong solutions.
