海洋科学セクション

Mission

The nature of marine environment around Okinawa is so rich and diverse, including beautiful coral reefs, peaceful mangrove ecosystems, deep-sea hydrothermal vents, and the dynamic Kuroshio. These surrounding environments also deliver great opportunities for marine science research to researchers. By providing our best supports, the Marine Science Section (MSS) contributes to all aspects of marine science research activities.

沖縄周辺は，サンゴ礁・マングローブ・熱水鉱床・黒潮など，多様な海洋環境に恵まれています。海洋科学セクションは，沖縄周辺の海洋における物理・生物・化学の研究活動を支援しております。
