Title: Formalism of spin and thermal transport in high-dimensional antiferromagnets
Abstract:
Thermal transport in some antiferromagnets shows non-monotonic response with small changes of fields and temperature (1). Spin and thermal conductivities in integrable-one dimensional magnets are studied well by several methods, and there is consistency of these results (2). However, spin and thermal transports in high dimensional magnets are not studied enough.
We study spin and thermal conductivity in square lattice Heisenberg antiferromagnets with interlayer interactions in magnetic fields using spin wave (3) and linear response theory. Firstly, we define the spin and thermal current operator in noncollinear magnets. We have checked that f-sum rule is satisfied in spin and thermal conductivities (4), which strongly indicates the reliability of the calculation.
In this seminar, I will introduce previous study of spin and thermal transports in one dimensional magnet. Then, I will discuss the formalism and results of spin and thermal conductivity in antiferromagnets.
