About the space
The café and lounge in Lab 4, Level D is the newest space at OIST to relax or enjoy your lunch. The striking artwork featured on the floor was painted by local Okinawan artist, Yusaku Shiroma, who previously painted the vibrant mural on the side of Energy Center 2.
The space features indoor and outdoor (balcony) seating, a lounge area, and breathtaking views of the greenery and Lab 5. The vending machines have been moved to a new space in the café. Please see map for more details.
