EVACUATION DRILL : 3/17 (Fri) at 14:00～

Based on the Fire Services Act, a comprehensive evacuation drill will be performed on the following schedule. Japan is a highly seismic country and we would like to take precautionary measures, in case of earthquake, fire and typhoon disasters. This is an essential exercise, so that everyone is aware of their quickest and safest evacuation route. Such safety drills are necessary, in order that people know exactly what to do in the event of a real emergency.

Date: 3/17 (Fri) 14:00～16:00

Upon the announcement throughout the campus, all OIST’s staff, vendors and visitors must evacuate to the appointed place.

Evacuation area: Follow per building, ※Refer the attached.

①Center - In front of Auditorium

②Lab1 – Next Bosai center parking lot

③Lab2 – Lab2 Adjacent parking lot

④Lab3 – Lab3 Open area next student support section

※Demonstration for use of fire-extinguishers will be also performed at gravel parking space near Lab4 construction site. Please come by after the drill finished. (only applicant)
