| Wed, 4 Dec 2024 | 1:30PM-3:30PM | Center Building C210 |
Join us for an exciting seminar exploring the cutting-edge technologies behind semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on the chemistry and optics of extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV). Discover how advanced materials and new optics designs are driving the future of chip production.
SPEAKERS
Mr. Toru Fujimori
Senior Expert, Electronic Research and Development Center, FUJIFILM Corporation
Talk Title: EUV Resist Materials Development
Resist materials are critical to manufacturing advanced semiconductor devices. While EUV lithography was first applied to high-volume manufacturing (HVM) in 2019, current EUV resist materials face challenges in meeting the rigorous demands of HVM. This talk will provide insights into the ongoing development of EUV resist materials and their role in enabling next-generation technologies.
Dr. Tsumoru Shintake
Professor, OIST
Talk Title: How Did I Discover New EUV lithogrpahy?
Professor Shintake will share his story of discovering new EUV lithography technology and its potential impact on semiconductor manufacturing.
