Japan My Number ID System Explanation Sessions

Date

Friday, September 18, 2015 - 14:00 to 15:00

Location

Seminar Room B250 (Center Bldg.)

Description

From January 2016, a new Japanese social security system will go into effect. In early October all residents of Japan, Japanese and non-Japanese, will receive a notification card on which is printed their individual, 12-digit ID numbers. An envelope containing the card(s) and other documents will be sent to each head of household by your local municipal office.

The notification card and the 12 digit number are very important. To explain the system and other information to OIST staff and students, the Rules and Procedures Section and HR People Development & Services Section have organized explanation sessions to inform everyone about the new My Number system.

Program:

1. What is the new system?
2. How will the new My Number be used?
3. What exactly will you receive in early October?
4. What is it you need to do?
5. Where can you get further information?
