Goals:

In this interactive session, participants will learn how to create and deliver a well-designed, effective presentation. They will understand what to include, and what to leave out. We will explore common phrases used in presentations, along with body language to ensure messages are well received. This workshop will help prepare participants to speak comfortably in front of others, both inside and outside of OIST.

  1. How to structure a presentation
  2. Preparing your script
  3. Using slides and visuals effectively
  4. Body language
  5. Managing questions and answers

 

Intended Audience:

Anyone interested in presenting in meetings, conferences, or workshops. This course is appropriate for non-native speakers of English with an upper-intermediate English ability.
