Title: Convexity: from the Euclidean space to Riemannian and sub-Riemannian manifolds

Abstract: In this talk I will give an overview on different notions of convexity introduced in the last decades to generalise the standard (Euclidean) convexity to different geometries such as Riemannian manifolds, Carnot groups and the geometry of vector fields. Later I will show some more recent developments and how this new geometrical approach can connect most of the previous notions.
