Description

Autumn School on "Gauge Theory, Topology, and Physics"

Abstract: This Autumn School will feature a series of lectures by leading experts, aimed at introducing graduate students to the latest research topics in the field. The topics include: Singular instantons, S-complexes, and their applications to knot invariants; Heegaard Floer theory; The moduli spaces of Yang-Mills connections over Riemann surfaces (following Atiyah-Bott, and also Hitchin) Geometric analysis on singular spaces with Ricci curvature bounds, including singular Einstein spaces ; and Higher-dimensional gauge theory such as G_2 instantons and Spin(7)-instantons.

This school is part of the Thematic Program on “New Frontiers in Gauge Theory, Topology, and Physics” (TP26GT).
