手わざを探る　王国の美

Many of original art crafts from Ryukyu dynasty period were lost and damaged during the Battle of Okinawa in 1945.

Technique (技;  waza ) used during the period was discovered by recent studies and it is used to reconstruct lost crafts such as dying, curving, pottery, sanshin, painting and so on. The reconstruction program was started in 2015 and 18 out of 65 crafts were recovered so far. The event is to share collected information and future challenges with the public.
