Abstract: We introduce the vierbein (soldering form) as isomorphisms between the vector bundle and the tangent bundle. The vierbein is a dynamical variable which replace the metric tensor. The Einstein-Hilbert action is rewritten in terms of the vierbein and the spin connection (the connection on the principal SO(1,3)-bundle). We can regard the general relativity as a SO(1,3) gauge theory through this approach. We may also take a look at some attempts at quantum mechanical description of gravity.
