Light-induced Acceleration of Biochemical Reactions with Designed Photothermal Substrate and Optical Fiber Module

Professor T. Iida will present some recent work done in his lab and at the Research Institute for Light-induced Acceleration System (RILACS) of Osaka Metropolitan University. With his team and his collaborators, he is conducting interdisciplinary research in optical physics, photochemistry, analytical chemistry, and biological science. His background and current research span a broad range of theoretical and experimental aspects of optical and photothermal science at the micro- and nanoscales, with a focus on chemical and biological applications.
