Title
IMPRINT: Interface of Multiparameter Persistence and Representation Theory Interleaved with New Topics
Abstract
Objectives: Our Workshop is designed to foster collaboration between several J-PEAKS partner institutions within Japan (specifically OIST, the University of Tokyo, Tohoku University, and University of the Ryukyus), as well as some other leading research institutes from Japan and abroad. Furthermore, we invite OIST researchers with overlapping scientific interests to engage in our event and discussion sessions. The organizing and scientific committees, as well as our invited speakers, reflect the core mission of J-PEAKS program; that is, to promote sustainable institutional collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
Content: The workshop focuses on the growing Interface of Multiparameter Persistence and Representation Theory Interleaved with New Topics (IMPRINT). Our event includes two minicourses, features some keynote lectures delivered by leading experts, as well as several research talks on the new developments in these domains. Moreover, we include a session for a number of lightening talks, so the other participans can present their work and engage in scientific interactions with a broader range of experts from Japan and abroad, as well as the local researchers from the OIST community.
In our program, we also include a discussion panel on "AI in Mathematical Research" and some other slots dedicated to discussion sessions to provide more opportunities to explore potential collaborations. This balance of research presentations and interactive discussion is intended to create a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere that will bridge disciplines and stimulate new directions of research.

Registration
Registration is open since October 15, 2026 and it closes on November 30, 2026; or as soon as we reach the full capacity, whichever occurs first. The registration form also provides helpful information on the accommodation, transportation, etc.
All participants are kindly asked to fill out the Registration Form, as accurately as possible.
Financial Support: Due to the limited budget, we are unable to cover travel expenses. However, we have booked a limited number of rooms on OIST campus (single occupancy rooms with private bathroom) for the duration of our event (namely, check-in on January 31 and check-out on February 6). The priority will be given to those participants who do not have funding to cover their accommodation, particularly the junior researchers (PhD students and postdocs).
