Roundtable on Job Searches for the LGBTQIAP+ community

C-Hub and The Office of DEI will facilitate a roundtable on The Job Search for the LGBTQIAP+ community for Researcher Appreciation Month. When entering a job search, you may face a variety of questions for yourself, such as “do I come out or not?”; “how can I tell whether this is an LGBTQIAP+ -supportive work environment?”; “must I use the name on my birth certificate on my CV, or can I use my preferred name that is representative of my gender identity?”.  

Join this roundtable discussion to reflect on how you want to approach your job search and learn about what types of questions you might ask to assess the inclusivity of the workplace along with practical issues, like inquiring about LGBTQIAP+ -friendly health insurance policies.
