Current Research

My current research at OIST (and projects that are already finished) is summarized based on the project  name under more specific links to the left. I tried to provide a story summarizing the background and the significance of the results for each topic. In some cases the summary came out a little long, but it hopefully did justice to the project (i.e. the Wittig coupling entry). Current collaborations will be summarized as well. Some of the topics will not contain a completed story as they are ongoing and/or unpublished, so check back from time to time. In order to introduce some color, reproduced below is a back cover from a 2019 publication with a former intern student (Shubham Deolka) as first author.
