We do not suggest you throw your tea into the East China Sea. Instead, drink it and have some cookies.
The Boston Tea Party, as described by Mr. Dawes Jr. in Mary Poppins (1964):
Mr. Dawes Jr: In seventeen hundred & seventy three, An official of this bank unwisely loaned a large sum of money to finance a shipment of tea to the American Colonies... Do you know what happened?
George W. Banks: Yes sir, yes I think I do. As the ship lay in Boston harbor, a party of colonists, dressed as Red Indians, boarded the vessel, behaved rudely, and threw all the tea overboard. This made the tea unsuitable for drinking — even for Americans!
Join us for teatime at 16:00, Thursday, Restaurant Level of Center Building. Please bring your own tea-holding vessel.

Okakura Kakuzō, The Book of Tea
Come fill yourself with tea, coffee and free cookies before coming back to marvel at the beauty of your experiments and the truth behind your hypothesis!
As usual, the teatime takes place in the restaurant area on level B of the Central Building, starting at 16:00.

"If afternoon teas had started in the Oligocene Epoch, instead of the seventeenth century, we are convinced that evolution, far from discarding that useful appendage, the tail, would have perfected it. A little hand would have evolved at the end of it — such a one as might hold his saucer, while a gentleman sips from his teacup."
~Contributors' Club, The Atlantic Monthly, October 1917
And if cookies were baked since the Cretaceous era, we would probably have extra limbs to hold onto more of them as well as increased land speed to make it before they run out in the first few minutes.
Please note that the Teatime this week will start a bit later than usual due to the ongoing Admissions Workshop, so come discuss the merits and weaknesses of this hypothesis on Thursday at 16:30 in the Restaurant Area on Level B of the central building!
