Temperature of the traveler should be measured for 14 days before entry, and in the case where symptoms of the new coronavirus infection including fever, respiratory symptoms, fatigue, etc. are observed, the subject should cancel the travel to Japan.
2.

The traveler should be tested for the new corona virus within 72 hours of departure, obtain a certificate from a local medical institution using the prescribed format to prove that the test result is negative, and present/submit the original certificate or a copy to the quarantine officer and the immigration officer when entering Japan. In addition, the traveler should understand that if he / she cannot submit the original or a copy of the certificate to the immigration officer, he / she will be subject to entry denial based on the provisions of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act.

The traveler must have private medical insurance (including travel insurance that covers medical expenses during the period of stay) at the time of entry. *OIST will provide.

The traveler must install a “contact confirmation” application specified by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare on the smartphone at the time of entry and use the functions of the application for 14 days after entering Japan. *OIST will send instructions.

At the time of entry, the traveler must start saving their location information using the map application of their smartphone and do so for 14 days after entering the country. *OIST will send instructions.

Upon entry, the traveler shall be tested for the new corona virus infection, remain in the waiting area designated by the quarantine station director, and avoid contact with others until the results are known.

The traveler must limit the means of transportation to one of the following for 14 days after entering Japan: private car, vehicles owned by the host company / organization, rent-a-car, hired car.

After the test results are known, the traveler shall wait at home or at the accommodation for 14 days after entering Japan and shall not come in contact with unspecified persons.

If the traveler becomes positive for the new corona virus infection within 14 days after entering Japan, the traveler and the host company / organization shall promptly cooperate with the health center that has jurisdiction over the traveler 's home or accommodation, and its survey (Active epidemiological survey based on Article 15 of the Act on Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases) such as presenting the saved location information stored on their smartphones.
