Graduation Ceremony 2024 Attendance Survey

Greetings from OIST Graduate School and congratulations graduates!

We are happy to announce that your Graduation Ceremony will be held on Saturday, 25th May 2024.
This is preceded by Alumni Workshop, to be held from 20th-24th May 2024. As a way to invite you to the ceremony and workshop, we would like to ask you to fill out this questionnaire if you are planning to come back to Okinawa and attend the ceremony in person. This procedure requires attention to time and deadlines, so please read the instructions and questions carefully, and we hope we can arrange your visit smoothly.

Graduation Ceremony

Eligibility: Those who graduated from OIST PhD Program between 1st May 2023 to 30th April 2024.
Travel Support: Available to graduates who can attend and contribute to Alumni Workshop

Requirement: Participate in at least one panel discussion or give a talk about your current job

If you are planning to invite additional guest to stay at the Seaside House with you, please contact us at graduation@oist.jp.
The graduating students will receive the priority for the stay at Seaside House and we may not be able to accommodate your additional guest if the rooms are filled with other graduates.
The accommodation fee at the Seaside House will be charged for additional guest other than the graduating student.

For two guests per room, the first night will be 3,500 JPY per guest, second and subsequent nights will be 1,500 JPY per guest. Room cleaning will be 500 JPY/time to be scheduled every three days.
For one guest per room, the first night will be 5,000 JPY per guest, second and subsequent nights will be 2,500 JPY per guest. Room cleaning will be 1,000 JPY/time per guest to be scheduled every three days.
