Making sense of uncertainty, articulating your value, and navigating non-linear career paths
Please join us for an interactive one-hour session with OIST Vice President for Advancement, Reid Alan Ching, on April 16th at 2:00 PM.
VP Ching will open with a short talk drawing on years of professional experience, followed by an open discussion with students. Topics will include navigating non-linear career paths, articulating the value of your research to non-specialist audiences, developing self-awareness, understanding what employers look for, and building confidence and resilience along the way.
Bio:
VP Ching serves as Vice President for Advancement at OIST, leading philanthropic development and strategic engagement in support of research and education. With two decades of experience at global institutions across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Gulf region, he brings a truly international perspective to building impactful partnerships.
