Dr. Tsunemi Kubodera
Honorary Research Fellow, National Museum of Nature and Science
Dr. Tsunemi Kubodera is one of the foremost authorities in marine biology and deep-sea life research. In 2012, he achieved a world-first by successfully filming a live giant squid in its natural deep-sea habitat—an accomplishment that captured global attention. Over many years, Dr. Kubodera has dedicated himself to uncovering the mysteries of the deep ocean and its unknown inhabitants, making numerous groundbreaking discoveries.
In this public talk, he will share his fascinating research journey and reveal the secrets of the mysterious world beneath the sea.
