Frequently asked questions:

Question 1: Long long does it take to assess my request?

Answer 1: Typically it takes between 2 weeks and 1 month to consider each request.  This allows the OIST Core Facilities time to discuss with each requestor to correctly evaluate if we can accomodate the request.

Question 2: How do I get my data?

Answer 2: Data taken is the responsibility of the user.  How to receive the data also depends on the equipment being used.  Please discuss options with the specialists in charge of the equipment.

Question 3: Is training free of charge?

Answer 3: Training on equipmnt is treated as a paid service.

Question 4: Is group training possible?

Answer 4: Yes,  receiving training in a group is possible depending on the equipment and is at the discretion of the specialist.
