Przemek-san is a long time practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga Yoga, devoted to the traditional teachings of this method. A dynamic practice of Asanas (positions), involving deep concentration and meditation, with emphasize on all the aspects of Yoga and how to apply them off the mat. With over 18 years of experience in and out of India, he would like to share his philosophy on his personal practice of Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation.

Miya Taillefer - Sensei

Miya-san is certified by the Japan Yoga Therapists Association & the Indian Central Government-accredited by Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samshana (S-VYASA). She is a certified yoga instructor (YIC) and yoga/therapist (YTIC). Miya can focus on areas for maternity, after childbirth, handicapped children, people with diseases, as well as regular courses.

Her classes will be taught in Japanese and little English. The Language exchange is welcomed!

Juan Carlos is a professional photographer and researcher from the Autonomous University of Mexico City, UACM. He has 28 years of experience. He began working on photography before the digital era. He learned the analog techniques and worked reproducing paintings for professional catalogs. He specialized in lab printing techniques. Currently, he is a researcher in the Autonomous University of Mexico City, UACM and belongs to the Communication and Culture Academy. He is specialized in narratives and photobook solutions.

Oksana Burduzhan is a mother and an aspiring artist. Her passion and interest is in art, and her educational background is in Economics. Some OIST members may have taken her adult art classes. She will now open classes for children ages 6-14.

Yasuko-Sensei is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and she will be teaching on Thursday afternoons in the Ocean View Room from 12:00pm-1:00pm. She is certified in Iyengar Yoga level 1 and level 2. She completed the RYT-200 program in Ashtanga style in Doha, Qatar in 2014 and has been practicing yoga since 1998. Come take a break from work and check it out!
 
Yasuko Rudisel will be giving Iyengar Yoga lessons at lunch time. Instruction will be given in English and Japanese.
