Not all marine creatures live beyond our reach, some live at the boundary between the land and the sea where we can easily find them.
So let's get out there and discover the amazing creatures that can survive in such a strange environment that is connected to the land and the sea.

If you are part of the OIST community and have the necessary field work training you can be an UMI Reef Ranger!
As a Reef Ranger you will be a teacher and a guid to those that participate in reef walks. You will be given the know how and tools to inspire a new generation of marine scientists.
